For those dreamy, tranquil newborn captures that tug at the heart, I highly suggest reserving your session during the initial fortnight after your little one graces us with their presence. However, if that window slips by, fear not, anywhere within the first three months holds its own perfection and beauty.
Two ways to capture these first weeks
I offer two newborn sessions, depending on what you're after.
The first is a 48-hour fresh session, where I come to either the hospital or your house and photograph those very first moments with your newest joy, while everything still feels brand new.
The second is an in-home newborn lifestyle session. I bring everything we need to photograph your little one, and you, in the comfort of your own home. These sessions run 60 to 90 minutes, though I always keep this flexible and work around your baby rather than a strict schedule. If baby needs a feed halfway through, we pause. If they're unsettled, we slow down.

Getting ready for your in-home session
Feed your baby just before I arrive; a full, sleepy newborn makes for the calmest, easiest session. Keep your home warm, since lightly dressed babies settle better in a warm room. I bring a basket and a small selection of soft clothing items with me, so you don't need to buy or arrange anything especially for the day.
You may wonder whether your home is a fitting backdrop, especially with a hint of untidiness here and there. Don't worry, we only need a single space within your home, a nook filled with abundant natural light and enough room for your beautiful family.
What we capture
Alongside close-up newborn details, we'll make time for photos of you as parents holding your baby, and if you have other children, sibling moments too. These are often the images families treasure most later on, the whole family in that very first chapter together.
When to book
Newborn sessions are one of the few things worth booking before your baby even arrives so that I can plan around your due date. If your baby has already arrived, reach out anyway. As your family grows, a family session captures the next chapter.
